It\u2019s been eight months since Charlie Kirk was shot and killed<\/a> during a speaking engagement at a Utah college.<\/p>\n

And this week, his widow, Erika Kirk marked what would have been another wedding anniversary with her late husband.<\/p>\n

Erika shared an emotional tribute on social media \u2014 one filled with memories, heartbreak, and a reminder that love doesn\u2019t end after loss.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the Turning Point USA CEO posted a heartfelt video featuring footage from the couple\u2019s engagement and wedding, along with clips that included audio from Charlie, Erika, and one of their children.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though our kids won\u2019t see our love \u2018grow old together\u2019 from an earthly stand point; they\u2019ll see it from a Heavenly one,\u201d Erika wrote in her message on X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019ll tell them of our love story any moment I can. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Needless to say, the post struck an emotional chord.<\/p>\n

Numerous users flooded the comments with messages of support, condolences, and memories of Charlie, whose death continues to loom large more than half a year later.<\/p>\n

As Fox News<\/a> notes, Erika stepped into a leadership role at Turning Point USA following Charlie\u2019s death last year, taking over as CEO after he was killed.<\/p>\n

His death, meanwhile, remains part of an ongoing national conversation surrounding political violence.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, Erika has continued speaking publicly about both grief and the political climate.<\/p>\n

Following a shooting scare at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner<\/a> \u2014 where she had been present \u2014 Erika addressed the incident on her show in emotional terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur country has become unrecognizable; these people have perverted the truth to the point that they motivated the murder of my husband,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey have continuously tried to assassinate the president, and anyone who stands in their way is labeled \u2018hateful,\u2019 \u2018racist,\u2019 \u2018fascist and every other trigger word that is grossly dishonest.\u201d<\/p>\n

But on Friday, politics took a backseat.<\/p>\n
