\tThe man who was arrested last year in Atlanta on charges of stealing hard drives containing unreleased Beyonc\u00e9 music <\/a>has pleaded guilty.<\/p>\n

\tAs Fox 5 Atlanta reported<\/a> on Tuesday, Kelvin Evans pleaded guilty on counts of entering an automobile and criminal trespass and now faces two years in prison, four years less than if he hadn\u2019t taken a plea deal and was convicted. He\u2019ll spend three years after the prison sentence on probation. <\/p>\n

\tLast year, amid Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u2018s Cowboy Carter tour dates in Atlanta, Evans had allegedly broken into the trunk of the rental car of Beyonc\u00e9 choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, stealing two suitcases. According to a police report from last year, the suitcases contained \u201cwater marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists.\u201d\u00a0 \t<\/p>\n

\tEvans was taken into police custody last September<\/a> with a bond set for $20,000. A representative for Beyonc\u00e9 didn\u2019t immediately respond to request for comment. <\/p>\n

\tAside from the hard drives, Evans had also stolen two MacBook laptops, which authorities had managed to track down. The suitcases themselves, though, were \u201cnever seen again,\u201d per Fox 5. <\/p>\n

\tQueen Bey wrapped the Cowboy Carter tour in Las Vegas three months after the theft. Cowboy Carter <\/em>itself won Beyonc\u00e9 her first ever album of the year Grammy back in 2025, and her fans have been anxiously awaiting her next record ever since. It\u2019s unclear what music exactly was on those hard drives, and whether their contents were related to her next record or previous works. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
