Cash bail continues to separate the rich from the poor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, he has to be released on bail,\u201d Budnick added.<\/p>\n<p>The good news, he continued, is that Glossip\u2019s bail \u201cwas GRACIOUSLY paid for immediately by @kimkardashian who\u2019s been fighting for Rich\u2019s freedom for years.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYVxqF0GknQ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cEven though EVERY Democrat and Republican in OK knew he was innocent,\u201d Budnick continued, \u201che was strapped to the execution table THREE times and three times given a last second reprieve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We do recommend that people look up a list of the legal absurdities that have haunted Glossip, including evidence that was never handed over, paper-thin arguments, and what appear to be numerous provable lies from the man who avoided the death penalty by testifying against him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTonight he is home in his wife Lea\u2019s arms, for the first time EVER,\u201d Budnick announced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to @itsjasonflom and @kimkardashian for putting Richard\u2019s case on my radar,\u201d Budnick expressed. \u201cAnd for amplifying this injustice to millions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Budnick\u2019s caption concluded: \u201cNow that Rich\u2019s old conviction has been thrown out, the Oklahoma DA is trying to recharge him 30 years later. That is the next step of the fight. Some would say no, others would say yes. But that is not the key question of executing people.<\/p>\n<p>Capital punishment instead hinges upon whether one can <em>trust the state<\/em> to condemn people to die. The Glossip case seems to perfectly exemplify one of the many reasons for which we cannot.<\/p>\n<p>Though we are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/05\/kim-kardashian-not-retaking-bar-exam-after-failing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">justifiably critical of Kim Kardashian<\/a> at times, we continue to applaud her when she uses her money and platform for good. Paying for this man\u2019s $500k bail is a good use of her wealth and power.<\/p>\n<p>Unless some damning evidence that has remain hidden for 29 years suddenly pops up, we wish Glossip well at his retrial.
