\tDon\u2019t expect Seth Rogen<\/a> to be utilize AI<\/a> to help with any script writing. <\/p>\n

\tThe Studio<\/em> creator spoke with Brut<\/a><\/em> in an interview published on Thursday at this year\u2019s Cannes Film Festival, where he shared his opinions on AI. Rogen said that if anyone is thinking about using the technology to help them create a script, they simply \u201cshouldn\u2019t be a writer,\u201d and might want to try out another occupation. <\/p>\n

\t\u201cI don\u2019t understand what it\u2019s supposed to do. Every time I see a video on Instagram that\u2019s like, \u2018Hollywood is cooked,\u2019 what follows is, like, the most stupid dog shit I\u2019ve ever seen in my life,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd if your instinct is to use AI and not go through that process, you shouldn\u2019t be a writer, because then you\u2019re not writing.\u201d \t<\/p>\n

\tRogen also noted that he would never want to find a shortcut to creating a new script because he enjoys the the writing process. \u201cGo do something else. And if you don\u2019t want<\/em> to go through the process, you shouldn\u2019t be a writer. The idea of a tool that makes me write less is not appealing to me, because I like writing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\tAI has already began shifting the entertainment industry<\/a>. The\u00a0Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently announced updates to its rules and regulations<\/a>, which included a crack down on the use of AI as it pertains to acting performances that are eligible to receive Oscar nominations. <\/p>\n

\tThe four-time Emmy winner attended Cannes in support of Tangles<\/a><\/em>, Leah Nelson\u2019s latest animated feature that features a voice cast of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Abbi Jacobson, Bryan Cranston, Sarah Silverman, Bowen Yang, Wanda Sykes, Beanie Feldstein and Samira Wiley. Rogen also serves as a producer of the film. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
