Vanessa Trump \u2014 the former wife of Donald Trump Jr. \u2014 has revealed that she is battling breast cancer.<\/p>\n

The news comes just days after Vanessa\u2019s current boyfriend, Tiger Woods, checked out of rehab<\/a> after his latest DUI arrest.<\/p>\n

Vanessa shared the news with her Instagram followers in a message posted Wednesday night:<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to share a personal health update,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,\u201d she continued, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile this isn\u2019t news anyone expects, I\u2019m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. <\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Several members of the Trump family were quick to offer supportive comments on Vanessa\u2019s post:<\/p>\n

\u201cPraying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,\u201d wrote Vanessa\u2019s former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove you! Strongest person ever,\u201d added Vanessa\u2019s 19-year-old daughter, Kai Trump.<\/p>\n

Vanessa and Tiger were recently reunited after he spent six weeks in a Swiss rehab facility. Despite rumors that Tiger wants to take a break<\/a> to focus on his sobriety, it seems that the couple is very much together.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey kept in touch while he was away. Both of them have responsibilities outside of their personal lives and that factors [into] how much time they can spend together,\u201d a source close to the situation tells Page Six<\/a>, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s like the hottest bachelor of Palm Beach. He\u2019s the biggest golfer in the world, and he\u2019s a gazillionaire. There aren\u2019t that many options.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recent reports indicate that Donald Trump Jr. will marry Bettina Anderson<\/a> over Memorial Day weekend.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear at this time if Vanessa and\/or Tiger will be in attendance at the ceremony.<\/p>\n
