The tribe has spoken.<\/p>\n

Aubry Bracco officially won Survivor<\/a><\/em> 50 during Wednesday night\u2019s dramatic finale, defeating fellow finalists Jonathan Young and Joe Hunter to claim the title of Sole Survivor.<\/p>\n

And yes, fans had plenty to say about it.<\/p>\n

Bracco \u2014 who first competed on Survivor: Ka\u00f4h R\u014dng<\/em> before returning for Game Changers <\/em>and Edge of Extinction<\/em> \u2014 entered the season as one of the franchise\u2019s most recognizable returning players. <\/p>\n

But after years of near-misses and unfinished business, the marketing consultant from Hampton Falls, New Hampshire finally sealed the deal.<\/p>\n

The Season 50 finale was already shaping up to be intense, with five castaways entering the last episode: <\/p>\n

In addition to Aubry, Jonathan, and Joe, there was Tiffany Ervin and Rizo Velovic. By the end of the night, only three remained standing at Final Tribal Council.<\/p>\n

Of course, because this is Survivor<\/em>, the road to victory was anything but smooth.<\/p>\n

In one especially awkward moment, longtime host Jeff Probst accidentally spoiled part of the finale during a live segment when he prematurely identified Rizo Velovic as a jury member before the fire-making challenge had even aired. Whoops.<\/p>\n

The on-air blunder immediately confused contestants and audience members alike, briefly turning the finale into a chaotic mess before the show pivoted back to the pre-recorded challenge footage.<\/p>\n

Still, the live-TV mishap wasn\u2019t enough to overshadow Bracco\u2019s long-awaited win.<\/p>\n

This season\u2019s prize was especially massive, too. In honor of the franchise\u2019s landmark 50th installment, CBS boosted the grand prize to $2 million, double the show\u2019s traditional payout.<\/p>\n

For longtime viewers, Bracco\u2019s victory will likely feel overdue.<\/p>\n

After years of being viewed as one of the best players never to win, she finally got her redemption story \u2014 even if the finale itself nearly turned into a blooper reel.<\/p>\n

Fifty seasons in, Survivor still knows how to deliver drama. Sometimes intentionally. Congrats to Aubry!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
