The tennis legend<\/a>, perhaps the greatest athlete of all time, has embraced motherhood.<\/p>\n

She has even continued her career on the court while pregnant \u2014 winning the Australian Open Grand Slam before Olympia\u2019s birth.<\/p>\n

How many children does she have? Is another baby on the way?<\/p>\n

How many children does Serena Williams have?<\/h2>\n

Serena Williams is a mother of two. She shares both children with her husband<\/a>, Alexis Ohanian.<\/p>\n

In April of 2017, an accidental Snapchat post revealed her baby bump. <\/p>\n

It also revealed that she had been pregnant while winning the Australian Open Grand Slam.<\/p>\n

At the time, she was pregnant with Alexis Olympia, who goes by \u201cOlympia.\u201d <\/p>\n

Presumably rather than share a name with her father, which is understandable. Serena welcomed Olympia via emergency C-section on September 1.<\/p>\n

On August 15, 2023, Serena Williams gave birth to her second daughter, Adira River Ohanian.<\/p>\n

In 2024, she posted an Instagram<\/a> tribute to her second daughter, calling her a \u201ctrue light.\u201d <\/p>\n

She named her daughter a Hebrew name, meaning \u201cStrong One.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Serena shared Olympia\u2019s excitement. What are things like for their family of four?<\/p>\n

Is she happy as a mother of two?<\/h2>\n

Serena Williams posted a follow-up in which she gushed over Olympia\u2019s role as a big sister.<\/p>\n

\u201cOlympia is always there for me,\u201d she praised. <\/p>\n

\u201cAdira came along \u2026 she is so special, so fun, so funny, so loving, so sweet, and so strong!!!\u201d Serena expressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see, God makes your heart get bigger,\u201d Serena Williams wrote.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cBecause my love for Olympia has not dimmed.\u201d <\/p>\n

She had previously wondered about her ability to love with two children.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart simply now is doubled the size,\u201d Serena declared. \u201cAnd I have a greater capacity to love more!\u201d<\/p>\n

At present, there are no indications that Serena Williams is pregnant.<\/p>\n

However, that could change. <\/p>\n

And there is ample precedent that she might not disclose her pregnancy news right away \u2014 or at all.<\/p>\n
