\tRed bathing suits. Slow-motion running. Saving lives. All are returning for Baywatch. <\/em><\/p>\n

\tA reboot of the original lifeguard drama<\/a>, which ran for 11 seasons starting in 1989 and an ensemble including David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa, is headed to Fox. The 12-episode series is slated to premiere in January 2027.<\/p>\n

\tWith production underway in Venice Beach<\/a>\u00a0and on the Fox studio lot in Century City, The Hollywood Reporter <\/em>is rounding up the names audiences can expect to see in this new generation of Baywatch. <\/em>Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies<\/em>) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside\u00a0McG (The O.C., Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/em>),\u00a0Michael Berk,\u00a0Greg Bonann,\u00a0Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.\u00a0McG will also direct the first episode.
