For years, James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb were husband and wife.<\/p>\n

That is no longer the case. <\/p>\n

Van Der Beek passed away<\/a> several months ago.<\/p>\n

Now, his former wife has remarried. She had a lot to say, and so do fans.<\/p>\n

They were married from 2003 until 2010<\/h2>\n

49-year-old Heather McComb was married to the late Van Der Beek from 2003 until 2010.<\/p>\n

Later that year, he remarried to the Mrs. Van Der Beek we all know \u2014 his widow, Kimberly.<\/p>\n

He left behind Kimberly and their six children: 15-year-old Olivia, 14-year-old Joshua, 12-year-old Annabel, 10-year-old Emilia, 7-year-old Gwendolyn, and 4-year-old Jeremiah.<\/p>\n

Back in February, Van Der Beek passed away after an extended battle with colorectal cancer. He was only 48.<\/p>\n

Now, Heather has remarried.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, May 31, Heather McComb celebrated her marriage to Scott Michael Campbell on her \u30a4\u30f3\u30b9\u30bf\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday @scottmichaelcampbell and I under the covenant of God got officially married by my beautiful sister @essence_says,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n

McComb detailed that they were \u201csurrounded by the people we love most in the world in our most favorite city Missoula Montana.\u201d<\/p>\n

She gushed: \u201cOur hearts are full and humbled by all of the love that we were surrounded by.\u201d <\/p>\n

McComb gave numerous shout-outs, including: \u201cThank you to all of our family and friends who traveled from all over the country to be with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Thank you to everyone who made this so special\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cYou all made it so special and a truly magical weekend that we will never forget,\u201d McComb raved.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are sitting here counting our many blessings,\u201d she then affirmed.<\/p>\n

McComb reiterated: \u201cThank you to everyone who made this so special for us!\u201d<\/p>\n

As you can see (above), her full caption was even longer, and included numerous shout-outs to those involved in the wedding and reception.<\/p>\n

Her photos made it clear that she had a great (and messy) time dancing. Weddings, as a rule, tend to generate very sore feet.<\/p>\n

\u201cBEYOND BLESSED for the most AMAZING week,\u201d he gushed, \u201cgetting married to the BEAUTIFUL soul who is @heatmccomb.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keeping things fairly succinct, he continued: \u201cTHANK YOU to ALL of our friends and family and all our newfound Friends and family!\u201d<\/p>\n

McComb and Campbell are, like the late Van Der Beek, both actors.<\/p>\n
