They\u2019re parents of three. They\u2019re next in line for the throne.<\/p>\n<p>But you never forget an ex.<\/p>\n<p>At a recent royal event, Kate came face-to-face with the man she dated just before William. She went on to date William, though the two were initially just friends.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYUyzvrDayi\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"h-that-sounds-potentially-awkward-was-it\">That sounds potentially awkward. Was it?<\/h2>\n<p>Despite what one might imagine, there is no real reason to believe that this reunion of the exes was awkward.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t just because it\u2019s been a couple of decades since they dated. Though that is, of course, a factor.<\/p>\n<p>Even 15 years ago, when Kate and William married, things were cool.<\/p>\n<p>Rupert was a guest at their royal wedding. Kate\u2019s other ex, Willem Marx, was also present.<\/p>\n<p>For that matter, William invited exes Arabella Musgrave, Jecca Craig, Olivia Hunt, and Carly Massy-Birch.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYSLx2VjTuq\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>For his part, Rupert is also married to Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, which is a lot of names for one aristocrat.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, Kate also owns some of Natasha\u2019s dresses \u2014 Natasha being the founder of Beulah London.<\/p>\n<p>Way back in 2010, William proposed to Kate.
