\tOff Campus<\/a><\/em> has issued a warning to those harassing their cast online.<\/p>\n

\tThe official accounts for the Prime Video series posted a \u201cspecial request from your Off Campus<\/em> family\u201d on Thursday to call out those who are targeting castmembers and loved ones of the cast. \u201cThe Off Campus<\/em> community is built upon a shared love of storytelling \u2014 and on respect for the real people who bring it to life,\u201d the post read. <\/p>\n

\t\u201cWe ask that everyone in this space extend that respect to our cast and the people in their lives,\u201d it continued. \u201cAccounts that engage in targeted harassment will be removed from following our accounts.\u201d \t<\/p>\n

\tThe show, which features a cast of relatively young and new actors, has become a buzzy viral sensation and gained a big online audience. Along with that big audience has, unsurprisingly, come some viewers who are commenting on the actors\u2019 and their significant others\u2019 personal lives.<\/p>\n

\tOff Campus<\/em>, based on Elle Kennedy\u2019s book series of the same name, has become a hit for Prime Video. The series reached 36 million viewers<\/a> worldwide over its first 12 days of release, according to figures shared by the Amazon-owned streamer. It comes in as Prime Video\u2019s third largest series debut over that amount of time, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/em> and Fallout<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\tThe book series\u00a0Off Campus<\/em>, which begins with\u00a0The Deal<\/em>, follows a new-but-connected couple in each book. The show plans to keep that model.\u00a0Season one dove headfirst into the age-old romantic trope of fake dating with music student Hannah Wells (Ella Bright)<\/a>, who, in true hockey fashion, is often called Wellsy by her love interest, Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli)<\/a>. Graham is the son of a professional hockey legend and captain of Briar University\u2019s hockey team. \t<\/p>\n

\tThe show\u2019s next installment will adapt the plot of Kennedy\u2019s third novel in the Off Campus<\/em> series, The Score<\/em>. It centers on lovable party boy turned certified lover boy Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn)<\/a> and aspiring actress and the ultimate best friend Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla)<\/a>. Both Kalyn and Abdalla\u2019s characters were fan favorites during the season one run.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
