The development partnership will include investigative journalism and coverage of social issues, culture, politics, science and business by <em>The Walrus,<\/em> with discussions on potential projects already underway.  <\/p>\n<p> \tThe expansion in unscripted fare follows Muse having a long track record in scripted event projects like <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/kennedys\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kennedys_1\" data-tag=\"kennedys\">The Kennedys<\/a> <\/em>miniseries for Reelz, Starz\u2019s <em>The Pillars of the Earth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/abc\/\" id=\"auto-tag_abc_1\" data-tag=\"abc\">ABC<\/a>\u2019s Ben Hur, <\/em>WGN America\u2019s <em>Bellevue\u00a0<\/em>and, more recently,\u00a0<em>Coroner<\/em> for the CBC, <em>Three Pines for <\/em>Amazon Prime Video and\u00a0<em>Sullivan\u2019s Crossing\u00a0<\/em>for CW, Fremantle and Netflix.  \t<\/p>\n<p> \t\u201cAs we continue to expand Muse Entertainment\u2019s unscripted business, we\u2019re focused on building a pipeline of distinctive, high-quality stories with the potential to resonate globally.\u00a0<em>The Walrus\u00a0<\/em>has earned a reputation for exceptional journalism, and this partnership gives us a unique opportunity to identify compelling stories early and develop them for audiences across film and television,\u201d Jonas Prupas, managing director of unscripted at Muse Entertainment, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p> \tThe nonfiction space push by Muse, founded in 1998 by Michael Prupas and based in Montreal, follows the production banner hiring former Blue Ant Studios executive\u00a0Jennifer Harkness as senior vp\u00a0global development and partnerships, based in Los Angeles.  \t<\/p>\n<p> \t\u201cMuse has built a world-class reputation for turning great ideas into unforgettable programming.
