Very recently, LeAnn Rimes alarmed fans<\/a> with a bizarre anniversary tribute to husband Eddie Cibrian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many interpreted the post as buildup to divorce, but we pointed out at the time that the problem didn\u2019t seem to be their marriage.<\/p>\n

Now, LeAnn is \u201cheartbroken\u201d to open up about the \u201csevere illness\u201d that has turned her life upside down.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am unable to travel\u2019<\/h2>\n

On Wednesday, April 29, Rimes took to her Instagram<\/a> Story to share some difficult news.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week,\u201d she began her text post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled,\u201d Rimes revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso, good news,\u201d she added, \u201cas we will be seeing you very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new dates, originally scheduled for April 30 in Spokane and May 1 in Seattle, will go down on May 31 and June 2. Washington residents will only need to wait about a month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule,\u201d Rimes expressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd,\u201d she added, \u201cI am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover.\u201d<\/p>\n

That is a very polite way of asking people to be kind and patient about a rescheduling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon,\u201d she assured.<\/p>\n

The singer concluded her post with a simple: \u201cLove, LeAnn.\u201d<\/p>\n

She didn\u2019t specify what the illness was<\/h2>\n

Over the years, Rimes has had some serious health issues.<\/p>\n

There was her memorable cancer scare<\/a> back in the winter of 2024.<\/p>\n

And, early last summer, LeAnn\u2019s teeth fell out<\/a> on stage.<\/p>\n

She has had numerous dental surgeries. (It is unclear if this is related to her constant smoking. If you aren\u2019t aware, she is only 43 years old.)<\/p>\n

This illness seems unrelated. But there are hints that it may have been ongoing.<\/p>\n

Fans also cannot help but think of her odd tribute to her marriage.<\/p>\n

Most anniversary posts do not mention \u201cheart wrenching things happening at home with family\u201d in such a public manner.<\/p>\n

\u201cTears and worry\u201d are not a traditional 15th wedding anniversary gift, after all.<\/p>\n

However, is this how LeAnn would refer to the \u201csevere illness\u201d that she has now disclosed without identifying?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s entirely possible that something else is going on. If that\u2019s true, then it\u2019s sad that she\u2019s sick on top of everything else.<\/p>\n
