\tFormer New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani<\/a> is in \u201ccritical condition\u201d at a hospital, his spokesman said Sunday.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cMayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,\u201d Ted Goodman posted on X. \u201cMayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he\u2019s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America\u2019s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.\u201d <\/p>\n

\tAdditional details were not immediately available. <\/p>\n

\tOn Friday night, Giuliani reportedly hosted his online show America\u2019s Mayor Live<\/em> from Palm Beach, Florida. \u201cMy voice is a little under the weather, so I won\u2019t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do, but I\u2019ll get closer to the microphone,\u201d he said on the show. \t<\/p>\n

\tGiuliani, 81, was involved in car crash last summer, resulting in a fractured vertebra.\u00a0In September, he was seen in a wheelchair and wearing a chest brace at a 9\/11 memorial service<\/p>\n

\tHe became mayor of New York in 1994, serving through 2001, including during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, leading the city through the tragedy.<\/p>\n

\tGiuliani later served as a personal lawyer to President \u30c9\u30ca\u30eb\u30c9\u30fb\u30c8\u30e9\u30f3\u30d7<\/a>, during which time he became involved in several investigations. He also supported Trump\u2019s claim that the latter won the 2020 presidential election, not Joe Biden, and he was later indicted and sued over those claims. He has since been disbarred.<\/p>\n

\tAlso prior to that election, Giuliani became the subject of controversy over an appearance<\/a> in Borat 2.<\/em> In a bedroom scene from the movie, he was allegedly caught in a compromising situation with his hand down his pants. \t<\/p>\n

\tIn 2022, he appeared as a contestant<\/a> on The Masked Singer<\/a>. <\/em>When he revealed his identity on-air, judge Ken Jeong stormed offstage, saying, \u201cI\u2019m done.\u201d<\/p>\n
